Occasionally I get asked about where I get my information. Since I use a lot of different sources for different topics, I figured I'd start listing some of the main ones here for anyone interested in reading more. In the case of books I will list the title, author and ISBN number. Some of these can still be purchased new, others are out of print. If you are ever looking for out of print books, I highly recommend www.bookfinder.com. I've been able to find some very hard to find books there. Oh, and they don't pay me for the endorsement, I'm just doing it cause I like'm. :)

Egyptian
- KMT KMT is a quarterly journal of Egyptology. Beautiful photos and informative articles. Their website is at www.egyptology.com/kmt/
- The Pagan Federation Online While I do have many pagan friends I often refer to this site to have a better idea of how pagan faiths are followed in the UK as opposed to the USA variations. Naturally I also refer to historic works as well when dealing with ancient times.
- Anglican Catholic Church Online Since Eva is Catholic and living in the UK, I need to have some idea of how and where it would be most appropriate for her to go and practice.
- Church of England Naturally one needs to research other faiths in England :).
- Holy Bible - King James Edition
- Holy Bible - modern edition
Mythology
Archaeology
- Archaeology Magazine I've been a long time subscriber to this publication. They also have a website at www.archaeology.org.
- National Geographic I actually own the Complete National Geographic on CD Rom. This is an awesome reference, not just for archaeology, but for animals, nature, etc... Couldn't do without it! They are online too at www.nationalgeographic.com naturally.
- Images of England This site isn't actually fully functional yet, but I do go there from time to time to look for photos. This will be awesome when it is done.
- Interview With The Vampire, The Vampire Lestat - Anne Rice. Yep, I have actually read these books and despite the fact that I enjoy poking fun at them in the series, I do like these first two.
- Man, Myth and Magic This is a fun encyclopedia type set that was put out back in the 1970s. It reminds me of Time/Life books - only I don't think they'd cover some of the topics that this set does. 24 volumes, you can usually find one or two at your local used book store pretty cheap.
- Critters Writer's Workshop This is a writer's group I am a member of online and they are fantastic for anyone wanting to write in the Sci-Fi, Fantasy or Horror genre.
- A History of Torture Scott, George Ryley; ISBN 1-85958-174-9 (ok, it's a wierd title to have read, but I am writing gothic dark fantasies here.)
- Neil Gaiman's Sandman Series for DC Comics Well, this isn't really a resource, it's more of an inspiration and influence. I'm sure if you've ever read it you'll understand why, and if you haven't then go out there and read it cause it is incredible!
